We are excited to announce Heavy: An American Memoir by Kiese Laymon as our first-year book selection. The program officially kicked off in Fall 2022 with events and activities being held throughout the academic year.

The OBOC Committee would like to invite you to join us in preparations for this new program. We will be hosting a Learning Community to discuss the book and develop ways to incorporate the book into the college. 

Additionally, we will also be offering an asynchronous option to participate in virtual discussions through Canvas. If you are interested in joining our learning community, please complete this Google form for more information and Zoom details.
