Do you want to facilitate a learning community? Give a presentation? Apply for a Fellowship? Publicize a program, initiative, or teaching strategy? Send any and all ideas to .

Of particular interest:

  • Guided Pathways and Assessment projects and initiatives
  • General Education 
  • Writing groups, research groups, reading groups
  • Meetings in support of adjunct faculty
  • Research and discussions on how gender, social class, race, ability, and other biological, cultural, and/or social identifiers affect teaching and learning

Teaching Certificates

What is it?

A form of recognition for faculty who engage in Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning programming to further enhance their teaching skills and strategies.

Who is eligible?

All faculty, full and part-time.

How do I earn one?

By successfully completing a workshop series sponsored by the Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning (usually 4- 5 hours) or by taking part in five sessions of approved FCTL programming. If you have completed these requirements, email the FCTL Facilitator at .
