Vaccinations and Testing

Due to City of Philadelphia mandates, all students, faculty and staff must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 15, 2021. Individuals will be subject to regular testing until they are fully vaccinated (two weeks after their final shot), including those with approved exemptions. Information regarding parking for the Spring semester is expected to be available beginning the week of December 13, 2021. A communication will be available, along with updates, and new FAQs.


Free parking will be made available in the Main Garage on a first-come, first-serve basis for all faculty, staff, and registered students. 

Individuals who wish to utilize the Main Garage should adhere to the following:

  • Ensure that you have your College ID, as your ID will be required to enter/exit. Without your ID you will not be permitted to park in the garage.
  • No outside/guest parking will be permitted.
  • No overnight parking is permitted.

In addition to the Main Garage, those monthly parkers prior to COVID will be assigned to the Bonnell (Flat) Lot and CBI Garage. Only those assigned will have access to their respective locations.

Daily Parking on Main Campus 

Parking at the Main Garage on Main Campus is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that it is not unusual for the Main Garage to be at full capacity by 8:15 a.m. on weekdays.

Fall and Spring Semester Main Garage Hours (Effective September 7, 2021)

  • Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-11:00 p.m., when classes are scheduled
  • Friday, 6:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m., when classes are scheduled
  • Saturday, 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., when classes are scheduled
  • Closed Sunday

Inter-session (Effective during the weeks of August 23rd & 30th, 2021)

  • Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.- 8:30 p.m. and closed Saturday and Sunday when the College is open for business but there are no classes or exams.

Students can park on campus free of charge for the Fall 2021 semester. Students will also be subject to first come first serve basis. Please ensure that you have your College ID, as your ID will be required to enter/exit. Without your ID you will not be permitted to park in the garage.

Street Parking

Street parking is available along most major streets that run through and around Main Campus, including 16th, 17th, 18th, Callowhill, and Spring Garden streets. These spots fill quickly and are subject to posted meter or kiosk hourly rates.

Regional Center Parking

The Northeast Regional Center offers spacious, adjoining lots for ample parking at no charge. Preferred spots are available for hybrid vehicles. Dedicated, onsite parking is also available at the Northwest Regional Center. The West Regional Center has limited dedicated parking with street parking for overflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my parking spot be held if I am teaching remotely?

NO. For Fall 2021 accommodations will ONLY be made to individuals who have a need to be on campus. Directions for Spring 2022 are soon to follow. 

The garage arm is up, do I still have to swipe my ID to enter/exit the garage?

Yes! You must swipe your ID card to enter/exit the garage each time you are using the garage. Without doing so the system will not allow you to access the garage on your next visit.

I did not have a parking pass prior to COVID, can I obtain one now for the Fall 2021 semester? 

NO. If you did not have a parking permit prior to the start of COVID you will be subject to the first come first serve basis for parking. Currently we are not accepting any new parking applications for the Fall semester.

Is my parking spot assigned based on my office location? 

Although we aim to accommodate each request, we are unable to do so. If you need an accommodation for other reasons, please click here and complete the appropriate forms to have your accommodation fulfilled

I sent an email to make a request, is this enough? 

NO. Monthly parkers prior to COVID must submit the form sent to their email originally on 07/20/21. All others do not have to submit a form to be eligible for the first come first serve parking basis.

Are students required to submit an application for parking? 

NO. Parking is free for students during the Fall 2021 semester however, spots are only available on a first come first serve basis. 

Can I submit an application now for Spring 2022? 

NO. As of now no new applications will be accepted from staff, faculty, or students. 

How do I complete a request to be put on the waitlist for parking this semester and for Spring 2022 semester?

With parking being free of charge for the Fall 2021 semester, there is no waitlist. Parkers are strictly subject to the first come first serve basis. As for the Spring 2022 semester, no decisions have been made regarding parking. Once decisions are made please expect to receive a communication via email in regards to requesting designated parking spots. 

I’m having issues swiping my ID card to gain access to the garage. Do I have to visit the school to have this issue rectified? 

NO. Please send an email to including your J# so we can correct any card issues.
