January 24, 2020

The 2019 W-2 forms are now available on the MyCCP portal.

To view and print the form:

  • Log into MyCCP. Click on "Employee"
  • Under "My Personal Information," click on "Tax Forms"
  • Continue by clicking on "W-2 Year End Earnings Statement," which will bring you to the "Select W-2" screen
  • Make sure the tax year is set to 2019. Then, click the "Display" button
  • You will now see your 2019 W2 displayed. At the bottom, click the "Printable W-2" button to print the form


An original copy of your 2019 W-2 form will be mailed on or before January 31, 2019, to your permanent address.

This could be a life-changing experience for students!

Through the generosity of Bucknell University, eligible Community College of Philadelphia students will have an opportunity to receive financial and administrative support to earn a bachelor's degree at Bucknell. The Bucknell Community College Scholars Program provides need-based tuition scholarships for two years of full-time enrollment, and additional financial aid may be available to assist with room, board, books, etc. Extensive support is also planned to help students make a smooth transition to Bucknell and to persist to graduation.

The Department of Architecture, Design and Construction would like to invite the College community to our Annual Show of Student Work.  This event brings together the College community, alumni, friends and family to see examples of our students' work from the past year. 

Come see the models, drawings and renderings on display in the Mint Rotunda from Jan 22 - Feb 28, 2020.  Opening reception will be on Jan 23 , 2020 from 12:30 - 1:30 PM.  Come meet the faculty and students from the Department, and enjoy some refreshments as you view our work.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Community College of Philadelphia faculty, staff and students were intvited to Girard College to participate in the largest Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service. There, at the largest MLK event in the city, Roary and their friends set up a table and spread #CCPPride by helping event attendees register to vote.

The College kicked off spring 2020 with a week-long series of seminars designed to sharpen the professional skills of faculty, staff and administrators. Beginning with a healthy breakfast and panel discussion, the week included presentations on topics like creating accessible documents online, diversity and how to support student wellbeing.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania outreach program will be on the main campus at the Veterans Resource Center Room BG-43. Thursday January 16th at 3pm

They offer a free behavioral health care clinic to all Veterans, National Guard, reservest and their families regardless of discharge status.

The fall induction of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society was held on on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019. Phi Theta Kappa, the official honor society of two-year colleges, recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders. Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa has a presence on almost 1,300 community college campuses in 11 nations. Congratulations on this distinguished accomplishment, students!

The Great Hall was transformed into a winter wonderland on December 11 when faculty and staff gathered for the College's annual holiday brunch. College employees were celebrated for their 20, 30, 40 and 50 years of service. A hot brunch was accompanied by dancing, games, giveaways and a side of the Cha Cha Slide.

Students, faculty and staff joined together on Main Campus for the annual Thanksgiving celebration on Monday, Nov. 25—a time for the entire College community to remember not the things that matter, but the people who matter—all of us as a family. As the community gathered to celebrate, attendees brought non-perishable food, beverage and toiletry items for the College's Snack Rack Food Pantry and the families of Spring Garden School. Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller, president of the Community College of Philadelphia Foundation, partnered with the Philadelphia chapter of The Links to donate several boxes of items.
