College's Response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Virtual Student Resource Center

For access to the virtual student resource center, click here.  This page is your one-stop-shop for in-person service hours information and remote access to the College's academic, financial and community resources, and will be frequently updated to provide you with the most current information available.

We encourage any and all students who are struggling to adjust to a virtual classroom and campus to refer to this page early and often. If you are not able to find what you need here, you can contact the College directly through CCP Cares

Funds for Child Care

Do you need funds for child care? If so, check out the Community College of Philadelphia’s child care grant program, Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS).  This program is available for male and female student parents who are:

  • Pell-eligible;
  • in good academic standing; and
  • enrolled in at least six credits (nursing students, three or six credits).

For an application, please email womencenter@ccp.edu, call 267-414-2092, or stop by the Women’s Outreach and Advocacy Center in Room S1.19 in the Winnet Student Life Building.

Digital Course Materials

Community College of Philadelphia and Follett Higher Education Group have partnered to offer what we call “Digital Course Materials” courses, which use digital materials instead of physical textbooks. Students pay a discounted e-book rate, and the materials will be available in Canvas by the first day of class. This reduces overall costs for students, who receive the lowest price available for the course materials.

Visit the following link for more specific information: Digital Course Materials.

Early 2023-2024 FAFSA Submission Date

Students will be able to file a 2023-2024 FAFSA as early as October 1, 2022.  Since the 2023-2024 FAFSA will be based on 2021 income information instead of the 2022 income information, most tax filers will be able to use the IRS Data Retrieval toll available on the FAFSA application.  The 2023-2024 FAFSA application is used for students planning to attend the Fall 2023, Spring 2023 and/or Summer 2023 semesters.
Note: Students planning to attend Summer 2023 must file a 2022-2023 FAFSA using the 2020 income information.

Pell Grant

The Pell grant for students attending more than one term within a semester (15A, 10A, 7A, 7B, etc.) will be reduced if they drop a class or classes that were included in an earlier disbursement.  These adjustments may affect the student’s current and future financial aid eligibility.  Please contact the Financial Aid Office with any specific questions.

Guest/Visiting Students

New/Continuing Guest/Visiting students must log into MyCCP and access the Electronic Forms Channel (Admissions Forms) for completing the online Guest/Visiting Student form. For more information, access http://www.ccp.edu/getting-started/what-kind-student-are-you/guest-students .

Senior Citizens

Senior citizens applying for the discounted rate may obtain the Senior Citizen Application Form by emailing . Staff members will be available to assist through the enrollment process.
