Tutor Hub
All Adopt-A-School tutors are required to log weekly service hours and submit a timesheet to the Program Supervisor, regardless if you are participating in Federal Work Study or not.
Logging Service Hours
Logging your service hours is important because it helps us track the number of hours students are giving back to the community, enhances letters of recommendations you may need, increases your chances of receiving special awards and recognitions, and ensures you receive your Federal Work Study dollars. Please see below for a blank timesheet and an example of how to fill one out.

Example Timesheet (how to fill out): View here
Note: Please make sure your school Site Supervisor signs off on your weekly hours.
In addition to your personal timesheet, you will need to sign in and sign out of the school's tutor sign in booklet. Typically school sign in books are located in the front office; however, please ask your school Site Supervisor to confirm where the sign in book is located.
Training & Professional Development
Professional development (PD) means building the skills, knowledge, and experiences that will help you grow in your future career. It’s about preparing yourself to be successful in the workplace, beyond just what you learn in class.
No matter what your career goals are, we want to help you grow personally and professionally while you're in the Adopt-A-School Program. That's why we are asking all Classroom Support Tutors to complete one PD session per semester.
You may self-select an online training or in-person workshop from the list provided below. It can be a topic that piques your interest or an area that you'd like to grow in. To receive credit for completing your PD, please contact the Adopt-A-School Student Leader, Edna Perrusquia.
