College Closed on Monday, February 23

Due to inclement weather, Community College of Philadelphia will be closed on Monday, February 23.

All 7A online and hybrid courses will continue as scheduled. Any scheduled on-campus final exams for 7A courses will be rescheduled. Faculty will contact students directly. All other online, hybrid and in-person classes, work, and activities are canceled. Please note that class cancellations do not apply to students in clinical rotations or those who are scheduled at off-site practicum/observation sites or internships. Program coordinators for clinical rotations, off-site practicum/observation sites and internships should communicate directly with their students regarding tomorrow’s schedule as needed.

Minimum Application Criteria

To be eligibie to apply to graduate, you must be enrolled for all remaining coursework:

  • Degree programs—Earned 42 credits or more with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Certificate programs—Earned 7 credits or more with a GPA of 2.0 or higher

Graduation Application Deadlines for Commencement Participation

To participate in the Commencement ceremony and have your name included in the Commencement program, you must apply for graduation by March 31, 2026.

How to Apply

  1. Log in to MyCCP
  2. Click the "Student Services" link in the column on the left, then click on the "Graduation" link under "Student Services"
  3. Complete and submit the application.
  4. For multiple programs, separate applications will be required.

You can also speak to an advisor or counselor to check your graduation eligibility:

Commencement takes place once a year at the conclusion of the Spring semester. However, a student may fulfill graduation requirements at the conclusion of any semester or summer session.

Students who do not meet graduation requirements must submit a new graduation application for the next term in which they anticipate graduation.
