The American Association of Nurses is celebrating the nation’s 4 million plus nurses from May 1- May 31st.
The College Library is excited to announce our new subscription to The Asian American Experience. From ABC-CLIO, part of Bloomsbury, The Asian American Experience is one of the first databases detailing the Asian experience in the United States, covering historic, social, economic, and cultural information.
To access, first log into the Library from MyCCP (under Student Services), and click on the A-Z Database List, from the Databases tab.
The College Library now subscribes to Kanopy BASE, with access to almost 10,000 videos (more coming soon).
If off-campus, make sure to log into the Library from MyCCP first, under Student Services. Click on the Databases tab, then A-Z Database List.

The College Library recently subscribed to Qwest TV EDU, co-founded and curated by Quincy Jones, the platform preserves the richness of history, while reflecting the present-day beauty and reality of culturally and racially diverse people. Qwest TV EDU is for educational institutions and contains 1300+ concerts and documentary films in jazz, soul, funk, classical and global music.
Qwest TV EDU is accessible from the A-Z Databases page. If off-campus, log into the Library from MyCCP first.
The College Library now subcribes to Polling the Nations, which is a critically acclaimed online database of public opinion polls. The polls feature 750,000+ poll questions covering hundreds of breaking-news events, including the 2020 presidential election, COVID-19, climate change, and Black Lives Matter, and thousands of topics, including affirmative action, criminal justice reform, immigration, voting rights, and many more.
Polling the Nations brings together thousands of polls going back more than a third of a century, giving students the tools they need to investigate, analyze, and think critically about the important challenges facing the world—a must-have database for any institution.
