Paid Biology Research Opportunity

In Spring 2026, the Biology department will offer paid research opportunities for students to gain hands-on laboratory experience under the mentorship of Biology faculty. During this semester-long research experience, students will learn in-demand biotechnology techniques, such as nanopore sequencing and gene editing.
The lab experience and mentor meetings will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This research opportunity is open to all students, however, students with a career interest in biotechnology, biology and STEM fields will be prioritized. Previous Biology courses or lab experience is a plus, but not required to apply.
