Department of Transportation Technologies

The Transportation Technologies department offers various degree and certificate options to prepare students to be successful technicians in the transportation industry. The state of transportation is constantly changing with different types of fuels to driverless technologies; the Transportation Technology programs are built to prepare students to be successful in this constantly changing market.

Faculty provide students with the skills they need. When students graduate from our programs, they are able to analyze and solve problems within various transportation systems. The current department programming focuses on automotive related areas, but we are soon to be expanding program offerings to Heavy Vehicle and Truck Repair as well as Alternative Fuels.

For those who already hold technical certifications you may be interested in our Individualized Studies program, which is very helpful for career advancement when you have the professional skills but not the academic degree.

If you are interested in learning more about the Transportation Technologies academic programs or course offerings, feel free to explore our webpages, stop by our office in CBI to pick up some program information or speak with one of our program/curriculum coordinators.
