Black Freedom Struggle in the United States: Challenges and Triumphs in the Pursuit of Equality is a curated collection of primary sources from ProQuest.
The Community College of Philadelphia Library is happy to announce easy access to The Chronicle of Higher Education. As the largest news source dedicated to covering colleges and universities, the Chronicle is a trusted resource for many at the College.
To access the Chronicle, simply go to https://www.chronicle.com, click on Sign In, then click the Sign Up tab, and use your CCP email address to create an account. You should receive a confirmation email.
The College Library has a trial to Films on Demand, streaming video collections on a variety of subjects. Access has been extended to November 16, 2020.
MUSE in Focus: Confronting Structural Racism is a selection of temporarily free books and articles from a wide range of Project MUSE publishers and perspectives about the history of racism in America, its endurance throughout society, and how the country can respond now to enact meaningful and lasting reform.
According to the National Park Service “every May during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and throughout the year, the National Park Service and our partners share those histories and the continuing culture thriving in parks and communities today.”

In observance of Women’s History Month, the Northwest Regional Center Library has displays featuring the accomplishments of a diverse group of women representing excellence in fields from politics, science, and literature.
Please follow the directional signs.
The NWRC Library, along with the Northwest Regional Center Administration offices celebrates Black History Month with a Lobby display of prominent figures in Black history. The display also includes books and a journal of the favorite books of the Center’s faculty, staff, and students. The Library book display features books written by popular Black authors, including a book written by our very own Dr. Anthony Driggers, But when they call you doctor: the lived experience of my pursuit of a doctorate degree.
