Expand Your Understanding of What You Study

The Honors program options at Community College of Philadelphia are open to highly motivated, academically talented students in Liberal Arts, and the Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics degree & certificate programs. These areas offer flexible programming and academic research to expand their coursework beyond the traditional lecture and laboratory. Activities designed to emphasize critical thinking, intellectual development and broaden students' understanding in specific disciplines are the focus of these programs.

How to Apply to the Honors/Scholars Programs

Apply here by filling out the form and submitting it to ccphonors@ccp.edu. Once you submit your application, it will enter a database that the Honors program coordinators can use to start sending you information about upcoming Honors/Scholars program activities.

How to compile evidence to petition for the Honors or Scholars designation:

1. Click the Canvas LMS link in MYCCP on the left side of your screen
2. Once in Canvas, click "account" on the top left (under the graduation cap)
3. Click "e-portfolio" then click "create e-portfolio"
4. Click "make it public" at the bottom and then "make e-portfolio"
5. This is where you will collect your documentation
6. Read the e-portfolio wizard so you will know what to do with your documents.
