Each day we hear about human trafficking in the news media, but we never believe it could happen in our neighborhoods or to our children. Human trafficking affects all of society, and this session tells the story from a personal perspective. In this session, you'll hear from a survivor of human trafficking. Students, faculty and staff will gather around the Bonnell Building holding chains and signs to bring human trafficking awareness to the College and Philadelphia community.

Philadelphia Family Court judge Lori Dumas; Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller, founder of “She’s My Sister;” and Melany Nelson from Northwest Victim Services will discuss the impact of human trafficking on legal, social and support systems in Philadelphia.
