Health Care Pathway First Tuesday Workshop: Vital Signs for Beginners
Tuesday, March 10, 2026 - 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Join us for an interactive workshop over lunch with Dr. Lisa Johnson, Department Head of Nursing, and Laura Davidson, Coordinator of Health Care Studies.
This session is designed to help you practice taking blood pressure, heart rate, and respiration with other health care providers and students.
The workshop will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the West Building W4-12.
Attendance at this workshop also gets you credits toward a Health Care Skills Badge!
To earn the badge, complete the following:
Complete AH 101–Introduction to the Health Care Professions with a “C” or better
Attend at least one First Tuesday event focused on communication (Comm)

Many students face challenges with their motivation during the semester, and the Counseling Department wants to help. This is the 4-part Motivation Matters: Unlocking Your Motivation for Success Series. If you are looking to learn more about motivation and how to increase your motivation throughout the semester, this workshop is for you.
