COVID-19 Campus Update

The College is currently closed, and remote instruction and work continue while Philadelphia remains under a stay-at-home order. All courses for the Summer I and II terms will be held online while student services and support are available remotely. Visit the College’s Virtual Student Resource Center to access the assistance that you need. Adequate notice will be shared with students, staff and faculty once a re-opening date is established.

I came here [Philadelphia] about five years ago through the Cultural Exchange Program. I’m originally from Poland. I just felt like something was missing in my life. I’m a very ambitious person, so I decided to sign up for college at CCP.  I do have a big interest in numbers so I decided to major in Business.

I was very curious and terrified at the same time to start at the College—but I kept an open mind. When I walked onto campus, I was shocked. I thought it would be a lot smaller, but it’s huge! I love it! One of my professors is actually non-binary, and I’ve never met someone like that before. It’s very inspirational to be around different kinds of people to open my perspective. I love it here!

Editor’s Note: Paulina plans to obtain her Associate’s degree here at Community College of Philadelphia, next attending Temple University’s Fox School of Business to major in Finance or Accounting.
