I actually graduated from CCP [Community College of Philadelphia] in 2011, so I have one degree in Computer Information Systems. I never did anything with it. I actually landed a job at Temple University Hospital. I worked there for three years before I decided I wanted to go back to school for Nursing. I applied to the program and surprisingly got right in. I took Nursing 101, but did not pass the first time. I was blessed to be able to reapply for the following year—came right back in 2015, passed 101, and then moved on to Spring 2016 and now I’m here for my last semester in Nursing.  

Right after graduation I plan to apply to Ohio University—I’ll also apply to West Chester’s program just to have another option open. It’ll be an online RN to BSN program, hopefully while I’m working as an RN! 

Editor’s Note: Mark will get his second degree in May 2018—this time in Nursing. He plans to get a full-time job after graduation, while taking online BSN classes.
