Econ Club | Meeting No. 3

Join The Margin, CCP's longest-running econ club, for our third-ever meeting (and first-ever Halloween).
Why do eggs cost what they cost? Or fun-sized Snickers bars? The Margin is for students who want to know, and students who think they already do. Come disagree with us this Thursday, and every other Thursday thereafter.
Why: Is the economy fine? Apparently. Is it also a little scary? Absolutely. And whether you know it or not, whether you like it or not, it doesn't just affect you. You're implicated. Who: Socialists, capitalists, ghouls, goblins, the undead, and everyone in between. You don't need to be a business major, like numbers, or even have a pulse. You just need to live in (or haunt) an economy and wonder why.Bring: A smart question. A stupid question. A financial horror story. A complaint about ticket prices (haunted house, Eagles, parking, lottery…). A stock portfolio or a grocery receipt. (Almost anything gets you through the door.)Leave at the door: Finance-bro cosplay (unless that's your costume) and expectations about what an econ club should be.
