Presenter: Carol  Bangura, Founder and Chief Development Officer of Schools Without Borders

Carol Bangura will discuss the 2017 mudslide in Sierra Leone, which followed three days of torrential rainfall and led to the death of 1,000 people, as well as local relief and recovery efforts, and ongoing challenges. The talk also highlights Carol Bangura's work within the Philadelphia African and Caribbean immigrant communities.
