Seminar Description

Participants are invited to learn about two innovative technologies that enhance support for students with disabilities, followed by a comprehensive overview of the new Disability Pedagogies Certificate Program (DPCP), designed for faculty, staff, and administration at Community College of Philadelphia. The DPCP will officially launch in February 2026. This PD session will primarily focus on the program’s structure and benefits, including the Bronze, Silver, and Gold certificates, developed to integrate smoothly into demanding professional schedules. Attendees will have an opportunity to note what they would like to see as the program grows and be invited to enroll at the end of the session if they wish. Pretzels will be provided for sustenance.
