This workshop explores the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV), including physical, emotional, sexual, financial, and technological forms of abuse. The course challenges common myths about IPV, highlights the diverse realities of LGBTQ+ relationships, and provides practical tools for supporting survivors through a trauma-informed and affirming lens. Through discussion, reflection, and real-world examples, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to recognize abuse, promote healthy relationships, and connect survivors with appropriate resources and support.THIS IS AN IOU EVENT.
