Seminar Description
This session invites faculty, staff, and administrators to take a closer look at how Guided Pathways keeps us grounded in our purpose while opening new possibilities for how we support students. This work builds on the College’s strong foundation of student-centered practices while helping us imagine what’s possible as we move forward. Participants will learn about the structure and purpose of CCP’s seven Academic Pathway Communities and how these teams help move our mission forward through programming, exploration activities, and pathway-aligned support. The session will highlight key initiatives, like the Pathways Majors Fair and Takeover events, and show how these activities help students understand their pathway, make connections, and stay on track to achieve their goals.
We will also spend time talking about what’s possible moving forward. These are ideas we can explore together as we continue improving our work. This includes strengthening our community teams, increasing collaboration, and building a more coordinated student experience where every student knows their pathway and who is part of their support system. Through an interactive discussion, participants will reflect on how their roles naturally connect to Guided Pathways and how their involvement can help shape the future of student success at CCP
