Many educators have had difficulty differentiating service learning from community service, volunteerism, internships and field placements, as these terms can be used interchangeably. This workshop will increase awareness of ethical issues that may arise during service-learning experiences, provide resources for evaluating ethical principles, and discuss strategies for preparing students to consider and address ethical concerns.
