It is, however, possible for program requirements at Community College of Philadelphia or the transfer institution to change without advanced notice.

General Information:

This transfer guide is developed in support of the guaranteed admissions program-to-program agreement between University of the Sciences and Community College of Philadelphia. It shows how the requirements for the A.S. Computer Science at Community College of Philadelphia transfer to the University of the Sciences’ B.S. in Data Science and the coursework required at University of the Sciences after transfer. To receive transfer credit, the courses must be substantially equivalent to courses offered in the curriculum at University of the Sciences and courses must be completed with a grade of C (C = 2.0) or better. A minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA is required for admission. A minimum grade of “B” in all science and mathematics courses (Prefixes: MATH, CSCI and CIS). The courses encompassed in the A.S. degree from Community College of Philadelphia must be completed within the 3 years preceding matriculation at University of the Sciences. Students who do not meet these additional requirements can still transfer under this articulation Agreement, subject to University of the Sciences departmental review and approval.

Students interested in transferring to University of the Sciences are strongly urged to contact the University of the Sciences Admission Office early in their enrollment at Community College of Philadelphia for advising.
