General Information:

This transfer guide is developed in support of the program-to-program agreement between Millersville University of Pennsylvania and Community College of Philadelphia. It shows how the requirements for the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Sound Recording and Music Technology at Community College of Philadelphia transfer to Millersville University’s Bachelor of Science in Music Industry and the coursework required at Millersville University after transfer. 

A grade of “C” or higher is needed for courses to transfer. Completion of the A.A.S. in Sound Recording and Music Technology leads to junior standing in the B.S. in Music Industry at Millersville University. To gain admission into this program, students must earn a minimum 2.0 final cumulative Community College of Philadelphia grade point average (GPA) and satisfy a performance audition.

Under this Agreement, students who earn the A.A.S. in Sound Recording and Music Technology at Community College of Philadelphia will receive a waiver of all Millersville University General Education requirements, with the exception of an Advanced Writing requirement, which is a distinctive General Education requirement and must be taken at Millersville University.
