Ireland's North West Regional College has signed Memorandums of Understanding with Community College of Philadelphia and the Department of Community and Economic Development. This MoU will be the first step in building and consolidating a partnership between NWRC and Community College of Philadelphia by developing a partnership through education and training with a specific focus on work-based Learning to include apprenticeships. At the event, Mayor Jim Kenney was joined by Mayor John Boyle, the Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District council and Mayor Seamus O'Domhnaill, the Mayor of Donegal County Council.
