The Love Lab with Philly Artist Christian Hayden

Tuesdays, Oct. 6 to Nov. 17 | 5 p.m. | Library and Learning Commons Maker Space, Room L1-03E
Join Christian Hayden, a humanistic facilitator and media artist, for a series of workshops that combine movement, creative writing and reflection to better understand how to love. Using media, readings and poems, we will craft collective and individual pieces that explore different aspects of what it means to love. Leaning on the family systems theory, "Theatre of the Oppressed" and contemplative techniques, Christian will guide participants through discovery. Workshop topics:

  • Oct. 13 - Inheritances & Relearning
  • Oct. 20 - Conflict & Discovery
  • Oct. 27 - Tapping into Our Deepest Needs
  • Nov. 3 - Designing Your Love & Transformation

International Lesbian Day

International Lesbian Day is recognizes, celebrates and increases the visibility of lesbian history, culture and diversity. It is a day for lesbian community connection, advocacy and supporting charities that benefit lesbian women.

International Pronouns Day

Join us to learn more about pronouns and pick up a pronoun pin or sticker of your own! Using someone’s correct pronouns is a sign of respect!

LGBTQ+ Health & Wellness Fair

Join us for this community-centered event designed to provide queer-affirming resources, screenings and support in a safe space. These fairs connect individuals with specialized health care providers, legal aid, behavioral health services, and social resources to address unique community health disparities and promote holistic well-being.

National Coming Out Day Drag Show
