Join us for a lively discussion and podcast viewing that celebrates justice impacted women and women's empowerment. This event will feature Women's Way's Beyond the Razor Wire Fence podcast and student participant Angie Orozco-Rasique. There will also be a discussion with Change the Narrative Fellows about the ways in which the carceral system perpetuates gender inequities. Lastly, there will be a letter writing project with Hearts on a Wire, a grassroots inside/outside prison advocacy organization working to address the needs of transgender people in Pennsylvania’s prisons.
