Jr. STEM Academy Session Two: Space Invaders with MIT App Inventor
Virtual STEM summer camp for rising 6th through 8th graders
Each camp runs for three weeks, Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Hands-on learning and innovative technology experiences await you at Community College of Philadelphia’s Jr. STEM Academy Virtual Summer Camps. Offered through the Division of Access and Community Engagement, the camp combines live instruction and pre-recorded lessons to provide a fun and engaging experience. Two sessions will be offered where campers will create their own version of the International Space Station with Minecraft Education Edition or learn to code their first gaming app with MIT’s App Inventor Studio.
The Jr. STEM Academy uses Google Classroom and third-party platforms to deliver our camp.
