Community College of Philadelphia has a program-to-program transfer agreement with Carlow University. To benefit from this agreement, students must earn an appropriate associate degree before transfer.

Statewide Transfer Agreement

Carlow University participates in the Pennsylvania Statewide Transfer Agreement. As such, Carlow University is dedicated to accepting the transfer of Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) degrees into parallel baccalaureate programs with full junior standing, recognizing all the competencies attained within the associate degree programs. The associate degree may integrate courses to satisfy part of a 30-credit framework.

To benefit from this Statewide Transfer program-to-program agreement, students must earn an appropriate associate degree in any of the following Community College of Philadelphia programs before transfer.

  • Computer Science
  • Education (birth - 4th grade)

Students are encouraged to visit www.pacollegetransfer.net to explore transfer opportunities with institutions that participate in the Statewide Transfer System and to view Community College of Philadelphia courses that are part of the 30 credit framework mentioned above. Courses from the 30 credit framework are recommended to be integrated into a student's degree program at Community College of Philadelphia.
