Earth Day Celebrations

Earth Day is an annual event created to celebrate the planet's environment and raise public awareness about pollution. The day, marked on April 22, is observed worldwide with rallies, conferences, outdoor activities and service projects.


Join us at Grady's Community Garden (between the Bonnell building and the 17th street open parking lot)

11 a.m.: Mindful Greenhouse Meditation led by MP Nolan, Bursar's office

noon: Plant Swap. Bring a plant! Enjoy a tour of the garden greenhouse and speak with the Horticulture Club members on the joy of urban gardening.

1 p.m.: Join the faculty and students from the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management program as they plant savory herbs in the greenhouse.
