Seminar Description:

The Customer Service Champion and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Professional Development Workshop continues to create loyalty, increase repeat customers, and sustain retention in our relationships and interactions with our students and colleagues. This workshop reflects purposeful and measurable objectives to connect the elements of a customer centered service culture and student-centered experiences while considering diversity, equity and inclusion.  

Objectives:

  • Review the primary elements of The Customer Service Champion;
  • Compare and contrast value diverse teams deliver & non-diverse teams;
  • Practice key skills that help create an inclusive and welcoming environment, as The Customer Service Champion;
  • Explore the impact of issues in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as a Customer Service Champion; and,
  • Use self-reflection techniques to assess personal perspective regarding equitable and inclusive behaviors, as The Customer Service Champion.
