Enough is Enough: Virtual Solidarity Walk

On Tuesday, September 1st at 4:00 p.m., please join Community College of Philadelphia for a virtual Solidarity Walk. The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Male Engagement and the Black Studies Program.

In memory of George Floyd we will be walking for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. Feel free to walk alone or socially distanced with family or friends. Encourage others to walk in their own community as well. We encourage you to wear all Black, or CCP or Black Lives Matter paraphernalia. Scream your message by creating signs, large or small, that you can take on the walk. We invite everyone to participate in any way you can. If walking is not your preference, post a picture wearing your favorite CCP or BLM apparel and send us a message that represents your solidarity with the movement.

Need Black Lives Matter apparel? Check out 10KSB alum, Harriet’s Bookshop at www.harriettsbookshop.com

Don’t forget to wear your mask and snap a photo or take a video. To share the video or photo, be sure to tag @CCPedu on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook and use the #EnoughisEnough hashtag to be included on our webpage.
