Together, the Tackling Reading Literacy learning community will address the impact of reading barriers on student performance in cross curricular courses. The learning community will identify pedagogical practices and strategies known to support struggling readers during individual and group tasks. Additionally, we will create a comprehensive brochure that outlines methods for identifying barriers to reading comprehension and offers best practices to support struggling readers.
