Updated COVID-19 Protocols

Per City regulations, vaccination is still required for faculty, staff, students, contractors, and volunteers (unless they have an approved exemption). Boosters are strongly encouraged.

Per City guidelines, masking will be strongly recommended, but not mandatory, in all College spaces starting May 16.

Visitors to campus will need to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative test (within three days) in order to gain entry to campus through June 30. Exempt individuals must also continue to test every three days to gain entry to campus through June 30.

Main Campus: The testing site on Main Campus will remain open through June 30. Starting May 9, the testing site will change its hours of operation, and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Regional Centers: The testing sites at the Regional Centers will close as of May 5. Once the testing sites close, the College will make test kits available at the Regional Centers for exempt employees and students to pick up. Specific instructions for how exempt employees and students can access test kits will be sent in a separate email. Unvaccinated visitors to the Regional Centers may bring proof of a negative test taken within three days to gain entry, or they may ask for a test kit at the Public Safety desk where they will be directed to self-administer the test in a designated private space.

Please note, per City regulations, the College is not required to test unvaccinated individuals if at least 90% of its faculty, staff and students are vaccinated. Currently, the College’s vaccination rate is above this level. However, in an abundance of caution, the College will continue its testing program for unvaccinated individuals through June 30 with the above modifications. The College will revisit its Summer II testing policy in June.

Case Monitoring

The College will continue to monitor positive cases for clusters or on-campus transmission.
