Most Summer 2021 classes will be held online, and all admissions and student support services are available remotely. Visit the Virtual Student Resource Center to access the assistance you need.

Important Spring 2021 Semester Announcement | September 15

When the College made the decision this past spring to operate remotely for the fall 2020 semester, we did so with the health and safety of our College community in mind. What was originally intended to be a short closure of our campus in March 2020 soon extended throughout the spring and into the fall. Today, COVID-19 persists, and as we head throughout fall and into winter, there still remains a high risk of community transmission of the virus in Philadelphia.

As a result, in order to ensure the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff, Community College of Philadelphia will continue to offer coursework primarily online in the spring 2021 semester.

While a limited number of credit and noncredit workforce development programs will be offered on-campus as long as it is safe to do so, the College will continue to offer online support services to all students through the Virtual Student Resource Centerand will continue to adhere to the strictest cleaning protocols on campus and throughout our regional centers.

I hope that this decision allows students the peace of mind that they will be able to continue to learn in a safe, healthy environment from home, and that students have the time needed to plan their spring classes around their many commitments.

While I am disappointed that we are prevented from gathering together in person anytime soon, we know that this will pass, and we look forward to the day when we can celebrate on campus as a College community once again.

Thank you for your flexibility and support during this time. Stay well!
