I looked at community college to get my bearings—try to get back to college life in the US. My options were CCP or DELCO, but I didn’t have a car and I knew I wanted to go to school in the city and eventually go to Temple.  The College has definitely helped me decide what I want to do and focus on. CCP has allowed me to catch up to my friends who are ahead of me.

My lifelong goals are to finish up at CCP, and if all goes well, get into Temple University. I would love to eventually work in full production—behind the scenes or writing. I will say there’s a stigma of ‘community college’ and I was guilty of that before too. But, I’ve been blown away by the support I’ve received and the actual professionalism the film teachers have because they know their stuff. You’re getting a college experience and meeting all these people for a fraction of the cost!
