Program Description:
The Division of Access and Community Engagement, in partnership with the Free of Library of Philadelphia, presents an Active Reading Workshop to any parents, guardians, or caretakers who read with young children! These workshops teach powerful and evidence based techniques to engage both parent and child in reading and enhance the child’s outcomes. Each participant exits the workshop with several specific strategies to enhance the reading experience as well as two free books to add to the child’s home library! Lunch included.
