Curriculum Design for the 21st Century Learner

Current literature on curriculum design and pedagogy supports the need for four-dimensional curricula that equip our future citizens with a range of skills that can be constructively applied to academic life, the workplace, and civic engagement activities. This learning community will discuss and develop high impact, learner –centered activities that help learners grow in 4 areas: Communication, Creativity, Civic Responsibility, and Meta-Cognition (the 4-Cs). It will also explore various ways of assessing the 4-C's and evaluating students' progress.
