Report a Crime or Suspicious Activity

Knowing how to react during an emergency can save your life. Simple and decisive actions taken in response to an evolving emergency can mean the difference between death or serious injury and staying safe.

How To Report a Crime or Suspicious Activity

Security is a collaborative effort that concerns everyone. The Office of Safety and Security depends on the College community to let us know when you observe a security problem, or a situation that may be unsafe. If You See Something, Say Something!

To report a campus emergency:

Title

Dial 911 for the Police or Fire Departments

Call College Safety and Security

  • Dial 5555 from a campus phone
  • 215-751-8111 from a non-campus phone

For non-emergencies, the Security Office has a suggestion box where you can leave your comments, feedback and ideas about how we may be of better service to the College Community.

Online Reporting System

You can now report suspicious activity to the Safety and Security office using the Online Reporting System

This reporting form is for individuals who have information about an individual, safety issue, potential crime, or incident and wish to report it anonymously. Information obtained from submissions will be kept confidential, but may be shared on a need-to-know basis if the information would be beneficial to another College department. Depending on the nature the information, College policies and protocols or legal constraints may preclude an immediate response from the Department of Campus Safety and Security.

CSA Reporting

While the College encourages all campus community members to promptly report all crimes and other emergencies directly to the Department of Public Safety, the College recognizes that some may prefer to report to other individuals or College offices.  In compliance with the Clery Act, the College designates certain College officials and offices as “Campus Security Authorities” (CSA) to whom the campus community may report crimes.

A full list of CSAs may be found at https://www.myccp.online/department-public-safety/campus-security-authorities.

CSAs should use the CSA Reporting Form to report to public safety. This form is only for use by the designated CSAs. All others should use the Online Reporting System linked above.

Silent Witness

Our Silent Witness program allows for the anonymous submission of suspected criminal activity that occurs on campus. Submitted information will be reviewed by our investigative staff, and appropriate action will be taken as warranted.

If this is a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 to reach the Philadelphia Police Department or the Fire Department, and then notify Campus Safety at 215-751-8111. If you need an immediate response from the Department of Campus Safety and Security to a non-emergency incident or situation, please call 215-751-8111.
