Walk-ins 

On Main Campus, the Counseling Center is located in Room BG-07. Students without an appointment can see a counselor on a first-come, first-served basis for a 15-minute session. Students who need more time with a counselor can make an appointment for a private counseling session.

The Counseling Center offers walk-in services for the following topic areas:

  • Crisis
  • Change of Major
  • Withdraws
  • Academic Issues
  • Professor Issues 
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Allied Health Applications

Appointments

All new transfer studentsreadmit students and students on academic probation must make an appointment with counselors to register. Students can schedule an appointment by calling 215-751-8169 and leaving their name, Jnumber, student status (transfer/readmit/academic probation) and phone number where they can be reached, or emailing counseling@ccp.edu with the same information; or if on campus, stopping by the Counseling office (BG-07) to schedule an appointment. 

The Counseling Center offers hour long appointments for the following:

Main Campus

Appointments can be made one of the following ways:

  • Visit the reception desk in the Bonnell Building, Room BG-07 
  • Call (215) 751-8169 and have student id number (J#) ready
  • Email counseling@ccp.edu include first and last name, student id number (J#), and phone number

Fall and Spring semester hours:

Monday - Thursday, 8:45 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (last student taken at 7:45 p.m.)
Friday, 8:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (last student taken at 2:45 p.m.)

Summer semester hours:

Monday - Thursday, 8:45 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (last student taken at 7:45 p.m.)
Friday, Closed on Fridays (starting in May)
