THINGS THAT DON’T GO AWAY: An Art Exhibition

Students in this semester's 3D Design II course collectively created an exhibition of artworks in response to the crisis in Philadelphia’s recycling process; a process that sees most of the city’s recyclables buried in landfills, or burned in incinerators located in predominately low-income and minority communities. Students engaged with themes of consumption, pollution, environmental justice, public health, public policy and the collective responsibility we all share in finding solutions to this problem.
